Hey folks..
Let me introduce myself here first.. My name is Brian and I've been given the task to redesign the website of the newspaper I shoot for.
I've used wordpress for quite a few years to run blogs and never really understood why Drupal would be the choice over Wordpress for something like a newspaper site... I've gotten my feet wet here for a couple of days and I'm starting to realize just how powerful Drupal is.
Anyways, I've gotten off to a great start and this group is a wonderful resource. However I have a few questions...
First - as far as I have read and understand, CCK is now more or less included in Drupal 7 Core right?
The module Premium (for premium content) is not supported in D7. I've searched drupal.org and used google but haven't found a module or solution that does what that module does for Drupal 7. Is there a module I haven't found?
I've created a new vocabulary in Taxonomy where I've put the different sections for content (news, politics, business, sport etc.). I've made some "sub sections" under Sport names Soccer, hockey, Handball etc. and it works almost the way I want it to. Is there a way to set Drupal so if I chose one of the sub sections (Soccer, hockey Handball etc.) under Sport, Sport is also selected by default?
