The next step is to refactor our existing sandbox code (http://drupal.org/sandbox/heyrocker/1145636) to match the changes that have been agreed on in these threads. I'm going to see where we get with that at the code sprint today, and then create issues around what remains in the sandbox queue. Next steps after that is to start trying to do some core implementations which is when we'll really start to learn a lot about our ideas I suspect. Now that the major architectural issues seem to be settled out, I am going to move towards discussing issues in the queues rather than here, so please subscribe to issues for the sandbox if you are interested in keeping track of what is going on.
