Help with calendar
Hi, I'm fairly new to Drupal and though I've created a views calendar before, I'm going on an 8 hour headache trying to figure out where I went wrong this time. I can't get rid of a long list of repeat dates on each pop up and event page. I chose "hide repeat rule" on every field in each view. And under the date content type, I chose repeat display:collapsed. But that's not all, for the date type I chose "datetime" for the field I added to the content type but in views under the format pull down menu, "time" doesn't show up. My other calendar was done in 6.17 and this is 6.19.

I hope everyone had a great December! Now it is the last Monday of the month, and unless you are getting supplies for the upcoming snowpacolypse redux, you should come out to Ann Arbor to hang out with a bunch of your fellow Drupalites.
We've got a very loose agenda today--just catching up and seeing what cool projects or (Drupal) problems people have had lately. Hopefully some of us have been taking the d7 leap and have started to do the really interesting and challenging projects in d7 instead of d6, so if you have, come on out and tell us about it.
Hope to see you all this evening!

Read moreManaging content as nodes in a separate database
I am managing a site with over 19 million business listings. Cloning a database this size is daunting and time-consuming. Most of this data is static, but there are some definite advantages to managing it as nodes. In a perfect world, I'd like to be able to move these 19M nodes to a separate database so that I could easily clone the rest of it for development and testing, but I can't think of any way to do that that will allow me to keep working with the data through the Drupal Node Module with its incumbent advantages.

Read moreNew Meetup: Debugging Drupal & Basic Module Development
Hope everyone is surviving the cold-- it should give you more time inside to use Drupal! :-)
This meetup will focus on the technical side of Drupal-- coding, debugging, and basic module development. Anyone that has downloaded or created their own themes, modules, or other code knows Drupal has a lot of PHP code behind it and sometimes it's mysterious what's going on inside all that code. We'll talk about how to get inside Drupal and see what it's actually doing and if there's time we'll dive into creating a basic module of your own.

Read moreForm in CCK
I have read a lot about this but it seems that my question is too simple and the answers too complicated. I want to make an event registration form. Like a Webform but with CCK.
I have CCK and have created a registration form as a content type with all of the correct fields but the only way that I can get to it is through create content. Do I have to give everyone access and use the link that appears in the address bar when I select create content?
This is basically a webform with the data going into CCK.
thanks for any help

Read morePartners Sought for Startup Social Network
Hello,
I'm looking for drupal developers to partner with me on a startup social network aimed at helping bloggers publicize their website easily and affordably. The website is up and running at http://www.unifiedsocialmedia.com. I am continuing to develop new features for the website and plan to roll them out over the next several months. I'd like to team up with other drupal developers to help move things along more quickly, and to be able to focus on other aspects of building a business out of the website.
