Install Profile feature/wish list

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

I'd like to brainstorm some of the typical features that would make sense to include on an "out of the box" lodge web site:

  • WYSIWYG editor
  • IMCE
  • Calendar
  • News page
  • Officer profiles
  • Photo galleries
  • Private OG for committees and other internal discussion groups
  • Access control for members-only content / downloads
  • Roles for members, officers, content editors
  • Contact form
  • Path/Pathauto
  • Stock top-level pages & primary links ("About/History/FAQ/Contact")

Others? I'd been thinking about this project mostly in terms of the public-facing aspects of a lodge web site with some internal community-building aspects, but one person I spoke with was also looking at Drupal as a possible central, web-based tool for Grand Secretaries to manage membership information (with constituent Secretaries having access to manage their lodges' information).
