Hey All,

We've got a few talks lined up for our first meetup in July. The format will be similar to the last talk session in April, probably around 15-30 mins each with time for Q+A.

There will an update on the Twitter account and plans for a future drupalbristol website with opportunity for getting involved in an open Drupal 8 sitebuild.

The Talks

Just posting an event for our May meetup as the interest levels are growing.

Although this is Social with no formal talks.

Oliver Davies (a recent employee of the Drupal Association) will be fielding questions on what the Drupal Association actually is and does.

Chris Hall will provide a quick show and tell (with resources) on using the Codio.com web IDE to develop against Drupal 8.

It'll be the usual time and place - 18.00 onwards @ Llandoger Trow

I can't make it, I will probably be restricted to first Weds of Month for a while, please post to let other people know if you are coming as it may be a quiet one after the 40 or so people who turned up for the talks a couple of weeks ago.

It is that time again, first social of March.

I am going to try to make it for first social each month and probably some of the seconds. Believe we had a errrrr very small attendance last time around.

Tom and I both met someone at DrupalCamp who could offer us an interesting venue to hold an event (possibly even a day) I have to chase up a little but more details tomorrow. If we have enough energy and few people prepared to pitch in with talks etc Could be a step up from what we have done previously but probably not quite a Bristol DrupalCamp yet!

I can make this one for a couple of hours.

Eager to discuss a D8 kick-about site for the group (somewhere where anybody willing can start playing around in D8). Need a bit of focus and feedback though, expect it would start sometime after the first beta release).

Any other ideas, or things people need help with post below.

Although technically first Monday of the month was New Year day, I assume nobody met up then?

I can't attend this one and will probably be a bit sparodic for the next couple of months, I will still be pushing the Twitter account though and proposing a possible web-site as a focal point.

Wondering if we need to keep posting events here for social meetups and how to do that? Possible to block post a whole bunch.
