We held our Broward Drupal monthly meetup on Wednesday, March 14th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

We started the meetup talking about South Florida DrupalEasy Jumpstart Days taking place next month from April 16 to April 20. The Drupal training course takes place over five days that you can pick individually or take all five days to boost your Drupal career. The five days are broken out in the following way:
Day 1: Zero to Drupal
Day 2: Site Building 1 (content types, taxonomy)
Day 3: Site Building 2 (Views, Context, Panels)
Day 4: Module Development Fundamentals
Day 5: Theming Fundamentals

We went on to talk about Drupal Commerce Kickstart. I gave a demo on installing Drupal Commerce Kickstart by using Aegir and Drush to install/manage the site. For more information on installing Aegir on your VPS/dedicated server, please take our look at slides/audio from our July 2011 meetup:

Jay Epstein (@jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com) talked about using Quicktabs and Lightbox. The rest of the meetup was spent answering Drupal questions from several of our participants.
