Read moredeveloping a module as web app based on drupal 8
Dear Drupal Dojo Community,
for about a year I've been writing a book to calculate real estate projects which will be published really soon. Based on this book I wrote an excel calculation sheet which I would like to port to a web based app (responsive to a certain extend, so one can at least view tables and maybe change some settings or numbers). I would really like to use an existing CMS to help me get things right. I figured Drupal 8 would be my best choice...some things that are needed for this module:
- login/logout
- support for user access in a later stage
- settings page

Read morerestricted access pages via login
Hi! I am a complete newby to to this. I've installed Drupal, have set up a landing page exposed to the internet, created a user ... the basics.
What I am aiming for is a home page visible on the internet, but all other pages are hidden, available only to those users who have logged in through the Drupal login screen.
Is there a way of doing this within the core Drupal that does not require programming? I was assuming that I could assign roles to users and restrict page visibility to those logged in users who have the appropriate assigned role.
Settings Dashboard
Hello all,
This group caught my attention. I thought I'd join in the conversation. :) I'm working on a "distribution" for personal use, because I have very similar clients. I recycle a lot of rules, content types, and permission settings. But there are settings that differ among clients.

Read moreThe Drupal way to add Div's and Javascript to D7
Hi
I was wondering if anyone could advise me the best way (the advised Drupal way) to add some html and javascript a SSL provider has passed me to pull in their Trust Seal to my site.
Ideally I'd like to add it as a Block but assumed if I pasted the entire contents into a block under 'Full HTML' that perhaps it might not be secure (or certainly might not be the Drupal advised way).
The code has been provided in two ways, either (A) altogether or (B) separated between Java Script and HTML.
