Install on IIS 7.5 Windows 7

Finally got D7.14 installed after renaming the web.config file. The KB's mentioned to support this config file are for Vista or Server 2008.

How do I get it to run properly on both W7 (locally) and 2008-R2?

Bill,

Can you please post a link to the KB you're mentioning? The web.config provided with Drupal 7 works also with IIS 7.5 (Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2) and IIS 8 (Windows Server 2012, based on the current preview).

Did you install URL Rewrite 2? This is the typical cause of error with the default web.config in D7.
