Beginning Drupal Workshop
Six Mile Tech will be offering a beginning Drupal Workshop in Ithaca, Saturday 8/11.
This course will cost only $75 for the full day.
Our Beginning Drupal course introduces you to the core concepts behind building websites in Drupal. This course will take you through a series of practical exercises to build a functional Drupal site and prepare you to initiate your own dynamic websites using Drupal.
This course will cover:
- Adding and Editing site content
- Creating new content types and fields
- User management
- Controlling the look of your site with Themes
- Installing extra modules to add functionality to your site
- Keeping your site up-to-date
- Using the Drupal community to learn even more
Trainer
Ted Bowman has been working with Drupal since 2006. He is the creator and maintainer of the contributed modules Webform Conditional and Entityforms which are used by over 7000 sites. Ted is a frequent presenter at Drupal camps throughout the East Coast, presenting sessions on Views, Panels, and Module Development in Florida, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Washington DC.
