The multi-talented Kevin Champion, who presented last month, is back for more! This month, he will be presenting on the single sign-on module, cosign:
One complexity that can arise in a Drupal project is figuring out how to use a third party authentication system to allow users to login to Drupal with credentials from elsewhere. A good example of this is the University of Michigan's use of Cosign as its single sign-on web authentication system. Kevin will discuss a bit about how Cosign works, and then demonstrate how the Cosign module integrates Cosign authentication into a Drupal site. He'll walk through the important parts of the Cosign module and talk briefly about how it's changed over time. Lastly, he'll show how the Cosign module can be extended by demonstrating how to build an API into your modules.
