I am writing a simple blogging platform for a primary school. I am using Organic Groups to create a multi-user blogging experience.
I want to be able to set up two group types: a class group type and an extra-curricular activity group type. Then I want to be able to set up one group content type: a blog-post. (I don't want 2 different blog-post types: a class-blog-post type and an extra-curricular-activity-blog post type).
I have the blog post type working well with classes (using panels and page manager). However, when I introduce a second group type and try and post blog-posts to it they do not display in the panel page. (I am using a views content pane and the correct content appears for all group types when entering contextual filter information directly into the preview box in views).
I am using a different page variant to view each group type.
I can see that it would be possible to create a single group type and change the type using a taxonomy term, but ultimately want more flexibility than this.
Is there some simple setting I'm missing or is this something more serious?
Any help greatly appreciated.
