Are you curious about Drupal, or debating whether it is the best tool for your marketing website, online magazine, or social network? Drupal in a Day is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of Drupal, providing site builders and decision makers key insight into how Drupal works behind the scenes.

By building a simple website with some of the most popular and useful features, you will get a solid introduction to Drupal 7. Our hands-on activities will help you get familiar with Drupal terminology and understand how Drupal sites are constructed. You will learn how to identify and choose modules to get the functionality you need.

By the end of the course, students will be able to:

  • Understand Drupal terminology
  • Create and manage content and users
  • Add images and add automatic image resizing
  • Choose and configure the most popular Drupal modules
  • Be able to identify how Drupal sites are constructed and the modules used
