Greetings, UMN Drupal folks!
Join us for our March meeting this Tuesday, the 26th. We will focus on using Drupal in the managed virtual server environment available through OIT. The 'swadm' environment brings some specific challenges, and those familiar with other Linux environments (like Debian/Ubuntu) will notice other differences. So bring your questions and knowledge to share. We'll have at least one server available with Drupal already up and running.
To help guide my planning a bit, please use the signup/comment options at the link below to let me know if you plan to attend, and if so, whether your interest is primarily in a) getting up and running in the virtual server environment from the very beginning (including working with the swadm user, Apache setup and vhosts, and mysql setup); or b) specifically in installing and managing a Drupal site (skipping all the apache/mysql setup.)
