Nothing scheduled yet
I didn't hear about a meetup in the pipe line. But it would be great to have one! I don't have easy access to a meeting room except our own office but that can be too small if there is many attendees. We did some meetups in the past at the "L'Ethno" (a bar at la Jonction). Maybe someone have a better option?
By the way, Wednesday evening are not very convenient for me anymore. But I am happy to help organize anyway.
The next one can be February 27th or Mars 27th. Any preference?

Hmm, well I also don't have any access to a meeting room either.
Feb 27th - would only leave us 2 weeks to try and formulate a meetup with presentations, however if we all just try and meet in a bar and just chat Drupal: 7, 8, modules, themes, tips etc.
Ideally we would need a bar that provides free Wi-Fi and it would be great if they have sockets for chargers but I highly doubt we'll find a bar with sockets that we can use. We shouldn't need it anyway.
I know the location of the "l'Ethno" bar, though is it convient for everyone? I'd be travelling from Lausanne, however I should be able to get there in time (say 7pm or a bit later might work well?).
How many of us are interested? If not many for Feb 27th, then we should try for March.

What a nice initiative to have a Drupal meeting, I was missing them!
Well as for me I would be more available on 27th March.
I may also find a possibility (to be confirm) to invite you in a meeting room at the HUG (Geneva Hospital)
Moreover I can also propose a presentation on "The role of Drupal in an Intranet - collaborative space and social network) and the idea of course to extend it to the upcoming of Drupal 8 would be great too
So I'm awaiting for your comments

Non, pas de tout... J'ai écrit en anglais car c'était plus facile pour moi.
Mmm en fait, si il ya beaucoup d'anglophones, nous pourrions faire moitié-moitié avec les deux langues? Slides en anglais, présentation parlé en français? Comme ça nous pouvons essayer d'obtenir plus de participants?

Si on le groupe prend de l'empleur, il y a peut être moyen d'avoir une salle avec projo et internet à la maison des associations ... mais il me semble que c'est payant

Je pense même qu'on peut prévoir les 2 dates : le 27 février plutôt "informel", un bar où on boit un coup, on parle de Drupal sans sujet précis, et le 27 mars où on peut prévoir une plus grande salle si il y a plus de monde, présentations bilingues, ...

L'option du bar pour le mercredi 27 me semble bonne. Il y a peut-être moyen d'avoir une salle au Scandale. Je peux voir avec eux. C'est proche de la gare donc assez pratique je pense. Ok?

est-ce que ces meetings sont ouvert pour des utilisateurs "basique" aussi ou vous préférez rester pro?
Sinon, est-ce que c'est forcement tjs Genève ou ca peut aussi être Lausanne? Lausanne est plus pratique pour moi ;)

Pour Lausanne, c'est possible et ça se fait de temps en temps, il suffit de démarrer une discussion pour trouver un endroit et une date. C'est aussi plus pratique pour les Drupalistes d'Yverdon/Fribourg/Sion

Oui, on est très favorable à l'organisation de meetups à Lausanne aussi. On avait plus ou moins établi le principe d'un meetup tous les mois en alternance entre Genève et Lausanne. Bon... je crois que c'est essentiellement resté un principe, mais on en était pas loin. On est alors passé à un meetup tous les 2 mois à Genève faute d'organisateur à Lausanne.
Pour mercredi 27 février, on a un "coin salon" réservé pour "Drupal" dès 18h au Scandale, rue de Lausanne. C'est donc très informel, pas de présentation. Ça sera l'occasion de faire connaissance avec les nouvelles têtes, de revoir les autres et de voir ce qu'on veut faire (ou pas) en ce début d'année.
