Twitter Bootstrap Modal

After long weeks of work, just published a dev version of my twitter bootstrap modal module: https://drupal.org/project/twitter_bootstrap_modal

The modal loads any Drupal URL link signed by a specific class inside a Drupal Modal.

It only takes the content part of the URL, without loading any extra region. It has also an option to personalize the output via a view mode for nodes.

So far it is working OK on production sites, loading content, forms and scripts, but has not been tested over complex environments as views involving ajax for an example.

Bootstrap Grunt

Bootstrap grunt is a subtheme to the drupal bootstrap project and putting grunt and bower into use.

The idea behind this sub-theme to ease package management for theme developers and
give them the control to choose which processor port of twitter bootstrap
they would want to use.

Bootstrap fieldgroup

This module adds a new set of formatters to the Field Group options when
configuring a view mode display, to render field groups with Bootstrap markup.

The formatters can be applied to the node create/edit form, as well as on
display.

What is the best way to use bootstrap modal with drupal?

Hi!

Thanks for you work!

I'd like to know what is the best way to use bootstrap modals with druapl. I want to show "Login form" and Status Massages in modal.

My basic (dummie?) aproach:

1) I create html and paste it at the bottom in page.tpl.
2) I create link that trigers modal widow and paste it in block.

It worked! But I feel like the is much better aproach?

New sub-theme based on Bootstrap using Skinr

Just published full version of subtheme for Bootstrap as Bootstrap Barrio.
The hole idea is based on adding parameters to handle column widths and fluid layouts, and Skinr for blocks behavior.
Generates modals for any block with just a click.

This is a sandbox project, which contains experimental code for developer use only.

In some case the primary menu want more than

element. This module helped developer can customize display of sub-menu item, by using Views module to customize output of display, so you can easily style the element and also fully integrate with drupal's menu system.

ded theme

Twitter Bootstrap Theme vs Ded Theme

Twitter Bootstrap Project uses less. The PHP less compiler has issues that the less javascript / nodejs compiler doesn't have, creating inconsistent styles. Less inheritance is clunky, nested styles are not inherited. This means using semantic markup is out of the question. This makes it impossible to style Drupal using twitter without lots of theme overrides, which could mess up styles provided by 3rd party modules as the classes will be different.
