The Seattle Drupal User Group meets every month and is seeking sponsors to help fund the cost of renting our meeting space and supplying some food and drinks for the meeting.

My school can host meetings for free
We just moved to a new building in interbay and have several classrooms and a theater, with projectors and wi-fi access. We're at Dravus and 15th. The theater seats 50. We're right at the D line stop and there is plenty of street parking.

My non-profit has a great, free meeting space in Georgetown with tons of parking. Its a cool party space and we'd love to host.

Jared, where are we this? (Is it still an open ask? Not sure of the details of the current NW Worklofts arrangement.)
Seems like something we'll address as part of our larger 2015 plans, in which case maybe we should unstickify this post and restart the conversation once we have a little better sense of the big picture.
2015 plans and location
Andy - nothing super secret about the NW Worklofts arrangement. They needed a location since the Tableau location was often booked. We have the use of the room for free and they asked if we could host it. We have the room reserved up through summer, but if a new location is chosen that is fine. It's always a hard balance to find a location that is free and easy for people to get to.
Sorry to have missed the meeting and look forward to hearing about the 2015 plans.
I made it not sticky
With Fuse IQ so generously providing a space this is much less of an issue.
