It's only a couple of short weeks until DrupalCamp Scotland, so if you haven't got your tickets yet, here's a list of reasons why you should get them now.

Inspirational Keynote Speakers
With James Stewart, Director of Technical Architecture at the Government Digital Service talking about "Digital transformation that's open by default" and Robert Douglass, Director of Products at Commerce Guys and long-standing Drupal luminary discussing "Open Source as a Service: Your business model in the cloud", both days will get off to a flying start with speakers worthy of the headline spot.

It's the biz
The Business day on Friday 9th is for business and organisation leaders using or thinking of using Drupal. Thought Leader sessions from high profile Drupal users such as University of Edinburgh and The Drum will discuss their experiences and reasons for choosing Drupal. If you are considering your future CMS strategy this free event is a must attend.

Missed breakfast?
It may be a Drupal camp but we start the weekend by joining other users and developers of Open Source Content Management Systems for breakfast. This regular monthly meeting is kicking off the DrupalCamp Scotland weekend and the topic for discussion will have a Drupal focus.

Celebrate the community
What's arguably the most beautiful thing about Drupal? You, the community. Following the successful inauguration last year, the Scottish Drupal Awards are returning in 2014 to celebrate the creativity and hard work within the Scottish Drupal community during the past year. If you have a project or contribution you want to celebrate, go ahead and nominate it for an award - and yes you can nominate yourself!

Bursting to share
Are you awesome? Have you got a great experience/project/idea you want to share with others? Then you're in luck. DrupalCamp Scotland are accepting session submissions. But you'd better hurry! Deadline is Sunday, 4 May 2014.

Location, location, location
This year, DrupalCamp Scotland will be held at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue on St Mary's Street which is in the heart of Edinburgh in the city’s beautiful historic Old Town, just off the Royal Mile and minutes from Waverley Station.

Free lunch...
Attend events on either day and we will ensure you are fed and watered with coffee/tea and lunch. Stay on for the social event on Saturday evening and you will get that rare thing a free drink at the bar!

Hope to see you there!
