Why DrupalCamp:

It's time for the 6th Annual DrupalCamp Chicago! Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the free, open-source web development platform from the experts. DrupalCamp brings people of all skill levels together for an educational experience featuring a relaxed, open environment, group brainstorms, industry networking, and of course, a great time.

DrupalCamp 2013 is hosted by the Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group (CDMUG), a local organization that meets in person to teach users and developers about the benefits of open-source software (specifically Drupal). In addition to regular meetups, CDMUG participates in the Drupal Association sponsored "Global Training Days". CDMUG builds bridges between non-profits/entrepreneurs and resourceful Drupal development companies, independent consultants, and hobbyists in the Chicago-land area. The day-long DrupalCamp offers a more intensive experience than the normal meet ups.

After party at JBTV Studios:

After a full day of Drupal, CDMUG invites attendees to kick back and enjoy the free trolley stocked with various beverages that will take them to an epic after party at JBTV Studios (jbtvonline.com). Many locals growing up in the area since 1985 will remember seeing Jerry Bryant on TV introducing the world to the hottest new bands (everything MTV should have been). Conference attendees have the chance to meet and hang out with Jerry himself at the after party!

Not Only for Experts:

Anyone can attend DrupalCamp and walk away with the training they desired. Multiple presentations will run simultaneously; geared to everyone from beginners and hobbyists to bloggers, sales teams, designers, advanced developers and more. People of all skill levels are welcome and laptops are encouraged.

New User Training with Doug Vann:

Drupal newbies are encouraged to hang out all day in the "New User Training Room" to work up close and personal with Drupal training expert Doug Vann. Doug has trained for NASA, major universities, as well as State, Local and Federal governments. This special training is included in the normal event registration fee, takes place at camp, and is normally valued at hundreds of dollars. Please notify us when registering if you plan to attend the Drupal training all day.

Presentations:

Drupal is all about community, so we need YOU! Share your knowledge, contribute to the community, and highlight your experience to others by submitting a session. Attendees are able to submit presentation sessions after purchasing a ticket and logging into the website.
