The next NYC Drupal Ladder sprint is happening Sunday, January 26th, 2014. It is part of the Drupal Global Sprint so we will be contributing in solidarity with thousands around the world. The sprints so far have been a lot of fun, with people diving into the issue queues and swapping dev tips. Come join us!

What's a Drupal Ladder?
The Drupal Ladder project is part of an initiative to help Drupal users get started learning and contributing back to Drupal. The stated goal is to get "just" 1% of active users on drupal.org to contribute to Drupal core by the end of 2014. This is a great way to learn about and contribute to Drupal 8.
What should I do to prepare?
- Sign up for an account on drupalladder.org. It's free and quick. Promise.
- Pack a laptop and your photo ID
- Event signup (at the bottom of this post) isn't required but is heartily appreciated.

Yes!
It's the perfect event for new users, in fact, that's primarily the intent of the Drupal Ladder, to make understanding Drupal easy. So even if you are starting at the proverbial 'bottom' you can easily get to the top.
