Purpose:
For smaller businesses and non-profit organisations, migrating from Drupal 6 to 7 (or 8) would represent a significant investment, quite possibly with little or no tangible benefit. However, Drupal 6 will very soon be unmaintained, meaning no further security updates, bug fixes or enhancements. The same is likely to happen to third party modules.
The purpose of this group is to discuss both cooperative and commercial options for long term support of Drupal 6 based sites.
