Overview
DrupalCI will start posting weekly updates to keep the community informed on the progress of the initiative. This is the first, welcome!
The most notable items from this weeks meeting are:
- Jeremy has an initial implementation of the "Simpletest" build step in the Job Runner.
- Nick has some mockups for a minimal viable product of the Results site.
Attendees
- Nick Schuch (nick_schuch)
- Jeremy Thorson (jthorson)
Minutes
Jenkins
- Code has been pushed to http://drupal.org/project/drupalci_jenkins
- We have committed a build "test". This is the scaffolding for the builds and allows the runner to be implemented.
- Example of Jenkins builds defined in Puppet Hiera data can be found here: http://cgit.drupalcode.org/drupalci_jenkins/tree/puppet/etc/hieradb/buil...
- Identified a requirement for caching the git repository checkout. We will implement if we run into issues.
Job Runner
- Do we mount the files or do we let the containers checkout the code base? This is a question that will be answered as we further work on the Job Runner.
- Nick Schuch to review existing code and provide feedback.
API
- Code has been pushed to http://drupal.org/project/drupalci_api
- Frozen until we have the results site up and running (we interface with the results site as well as the Jenkins dispatcher).
Results
- Code has been pushed to http://drupal.org/project/drupalci_results
- Developed minimal viable product wireframes based on content structure discussed as Amsterdam - https://www.drupal.org/node/2282661#comment-9304355
Goals
