Hi all,

The Meyer Memorial Trust would like to invite Drupal shops to submit an RFP for our website redesign project.

Meyer Memorial Trust is a private, nonprofit, charitable foundation located in Portland, Oregon, established by the estate of Fred G. Meyer. MMT awards grants to nonprofit organizations serving Oregon and Clark County, Washington.

We are seeking expert guidance to help design, re-brand and implement a website with high functionality, approachable style and content that speaks directly to our audience of grantees, philanthropic partners, and both internal and external stakeholders.

We are specifically looking for:

  • responsive design services, to include a new logo, colors and branding;
  • developer services, with an emphasis on elegant user interface;
  • a collaborative process to craft strategic content with a greater focus on storytelling via articles,
  • infographics, video and photographs; and
  • custom integration with our grantmaking software, GrantIS 2, while playing nice with social media, search engines, Google Analytics and external tools such as MailChimp.

MMT’s present website uses Drupal version 6 and we have a Drupal developer on staff. We anticipate web redevelopment in version 8, but will consider compelling pitches to shift to another content management system, providing the CMS would better help us achieve our goals.

We are opening the RFP process up to receive qualified proposals from communications firms, design firms and web development firms in Oregon. In addition, we will reach out farther afield to invite a small number of potential partners that have worked on similar projects for foundations on the West Coast.

MMT may award this project to a single vendor, or split the work between two or more vendors to divide design and development work at its sole discretion.

You can download the RFP PDF from our current website.

All proposals submitted in response to this RFP must be in Adobe PDF and delivered via email to me, Kimberly A.C. Wilson, Director of Communications, at MMT, at kwilson@mmt.org. No printed proposals will be accepted.

The deadline is 8:30 a.m. PST, Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. We will only accept responses to this RFP that are received by that time, on that date.

We expect to begin work on this project by Monday, March 16, 2015. Firms that would not be able to commit resources to this project at that time should not respond.

Thank you for your time, consideration and interest in this project.
