User group meeting
This Users Group meeting is Thursday, March 5 at 2pm in ISB 145.
Meetings are open to anyone interested in Drupal and not limited to the UMass Amherst community. Bring problems, questions and ideas. Offers to make presentations are welcome.
Meet at the UMass Integrated Sciences Building (ISB) (See map here.
Room 145 is a meeting room near the elevators on the first floor.
Regular meetings for the UMass Amherst Drupal Users Group are the first Thursday of the month.

What we did:
Kelly showcased Last Call Media's D8 site: https://lastcallmedia.com/. He mentioned they're also using it to contribute to d8. (Thank you Kelly for your excellent presentation.)
To spinup a D8 site on the fly, go to https://dashboard.getpantheon.com/products/drupal8/spinup
Group created site using pantheon’s spinup. Experimented with Configuration Management > importing and exporting. Played with D8.
Talked about how to make group more open to all levels not just high technical. Part of issue is that we meet during work hours. Ideas: Maybe include a video like one from code karate Daily Dose of Drupal http://codekarate.com/. Post on Western Ma group. Do a little NERD summit - mentoring or coaching.
