OK, we already lied in the title. We're not talking about painless Drupal updates, we're talking about doing updates with less pain!
Drupal security releases, module security updates, updates to modules that have only a -dev version...what's a Drupal site maintainer to do?
John Rearick and John VanDyk will walk through a case study of how we approach these problems with 150 sites to update in Iowa State University's Biology IT group. We'll talk about techniques, discuss what we don't have right yet and how we plan to improve, and generally be empathetic and understanding.
