Looking for a Senior/Junior Drupal Developer/Engineer who will be leading a team of developers responsible for building new and supporting existing websites that are part of our large portfolio. We need smart, artistic, solution-oriented, focused and determined individuals who have a proven ability to listen, read between the lines, provide excellent solutions, diagnose and solve problems efficiently and provide the best software quality for our clients.
What you'll do:
Design, build, and maintain Drupal-based websites, including custom module and theme development
Lead a team of developers to successfully deliver Drupal-based projects with excellent quality standards
Work with stakeholders to build and deliver a great online experience for our customers, partners, and community members
Integrate web properties with one another as well as with 3rd party sales, marketing, shopping cart, and authentication tools via available APIs
Assist in rebuilding and expanding our web platform and the sites within them to make them more appealing, more nimble, more useful, easier to manage, and a leverage point for company growth
Skills you’ll need:
Expertise in Drupal, PHP, Javascript, JQuery and HTML
Proficient with Drupal’s custom module development, hook system, database API, and Form API
Strong Expertise in Database Skills (Oracle/MySQL)
Skilled in designing and optimizing database queries and migrating DBs
Knowledge of Servers and Configuration (LAMP, MAMP)
Working knowledge of Varnish, Memcache and Mongo DB
Familiarity with GIT and ability to set up your own version controlled environment
Thorough knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
Good understanding of Apache
Good analytical and communication skills
Nice to have:
Acquia Platform experience
Experience using Agile (Scrum) Process and Agile tools
Experience with Selenium or other automated testing tools
Experience creating and managing multi-lingual websites
Experience developing and managing high-traffic websites
