After some discussion at our June meeting, the Grand Rapids Drupal User Group is adopting a new format and schedule for future meetings!
To avoid conflicts with some other popular meetups in the area, we will now be meeting on the first Monday of each month. Meetings will continue to take place at The Factory, but will begin earlier; we will plan on having an informal period from about 5:30 to 6:00 to socialize and help each other with specific challenges, followed by our scheduled presentation from 6:00 to 6:30 and more time after that for questions and collaboration as desired.
Exciting bits: Rapid Development Group is now an official sponsor of the group, and we will provide dinner for attendees and arrange presenters. Anyone is welcome to present a topic, as always! We'll just make sure slots get filled if nobody else comes forward.
We are skipping July due to the holiday, but will convene under the new schedule in August. Meetings will be announced, as usual, on the Meetup group (http://www.meetup.com/grupal/). Please use that site to RSVP so we can have enough food to go around.
