Hi Science Drupalistas,
We're really excited for our Science on Drupal sessions this afternoon at the ESIP Summer Meeting, from 2-5:30pm, and look forward to meeting many of you there once again!
Drupal 8 has landed: we'll get you up to speed in Ajinkya's "Intro to Drupal 8" and explore how to take full advantage of its new REST capabilities with our guest speaker Kosta Harlan. ElasticSearch integrations open up new avenues for indexing, faceting and analyzing Drupal data at scale, and we'll be presenting a couple of case studies of how it's been applied at large-scale metadata repositories.
For those not at the meeting physically, there are still plenty of ways to take part. Sessions will be broadcast on GoToMeeting at the time, and we'll post recordings afterwards in case you need to catch up. See the remote participation details for each session below.
