Everyone in the industry knows how important semantic HTML is in order to create an accessible site, but have you ever wondered if there is more to an building accessible product than just development? Have you ever thought about how a visually impaired person may use your site? How about someone with mobility issues or who uses prosthetics? This month Michaela Blackham will be reviewing who these accommodations are created for, common difficulties for these users, and the various ways to solve the common issues that arise from some of your users. More importantly, Michaela will discuss ways to get your entire team involved in the process of creating a well thought out and accessible product.

Pizza and socializing starts at 6:30 p.m.

Discussion and presentations start at 7.

At 8:30 we'll head down to Renegade Brewing Co to continue hanging out

The meet-up will take place at Open Media Foundation, just south of Downtown Denver. 700 Kalamath St. Denver, CO 80204
