Downtown Drupal Meetup and Drupal Clinic via Webcast on Tuesday, February 3, 2015
The 1st Tuesday of the month is here again and it's time for another Downtown Drupal Meetup! Join us via webcast on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 between 7-9pm Pacific. This meetup is free.
Are you new to Drupal or the Downtown Drupal meetup? Come learn about Drupal and how others like yourself are using it for their project, business or organization. We promise not to talk down to you. Those who would like to attend remotely are welcome to join us via webcast.
Tonight we're doing something a little different and will be dedicating the entire meetup to a Drupal Clinic, also known as Users Helping Users. This is a chance for members of the community to help and be helped by others with whatever questions and problems they're having with Drupal.
Please note that while Users Helping Users is not designed to be a replacement for bona fide consulting from a Drupal professional that there are plenty of Drupal experts and professionals who attend our meetups and sometimes they need help, too!
- Are you currently having a problem that you need help with?
- Do you have a presentation or job announcement that you'd like to share with the group?
- Is there a topic about anything you'd like to see a presentation on?
- Did you recently attend a great Drupal or tech event that you want to tell us about?
- Did you solve a problem recently and now have a solution to share with the group?
If you said "Yes!" to any of these questions, this meetup is for you.

Drupal Show & Tell
At this online meetup we're having another show and tell. We'll have some quick introductions, news and announcements, and then we'll be going into 5-minute presentations (called lightning talks) on the projects that each person is working on.
Did you recently attend a great Drupal or tech event that you want to tell us about? Are you currently having a problem that you need help with? Did you solve a problem recently and now have a solution to share with the group? You'll have up to 5 minutes to present and then up to 5 more minutes for Q&A with the other attendees.
Mobile Development Boot Camp
We're also going to be discussing the upcoming Mobile Development Boot Camp (planned for January, 2015) and how we're building on the previous boot camp that Droplabs hosted in 2013. We're also excited to announce our first-ever meetup at our new Marina Del Rey venue right next to Mothers Beach.
About Extreme Drupal
Formerly known as the High Performance Drupal Meetup, this event covers Drupal scalability, performance and benchmarking as well as devops, deployment, infrastructure, high performance hosting, monitoring and highly repeatable processes.
All are welcome but this is not a meetup for beginners.
We've been meeting since April, 2011, in a variety of locations around the Greater Los Angeles Area. Also, this meetup has been held at coffeeshops in the past and the addition of caffeine makes our meetings feel as if they go faster and faster as the night goes on.

It is a pretty good turn out with 11 people considering it is in Pasadena right around rush hours. People are just terrific, very friendly and ready to help others. Feels like I have moved forward by leaps and bounds. Thanks everyone!
