North Shore Drupal Meetup
Calling all North Shore Drupalists - let's get together and explore Drupal and maybe a refreshing beverage or two :)
We billed this as "Drupal Theming part 2"... not sure if I can legally call this part 2, since we didn't really complete a part 1 - but ... let's pick up where we left off, or simply talk about our experiences with and/or personal approaches to theming.
I plan to explore the Omega theme this month, and would love to talk about that, as well as getting back to our stroll through Drupal Gardens and how to really stretch the themes there :)

Taking a Stroll through the Drupal Gardens, and Custom Theming...
Let's get together and talk about our experiences with theming - explore Drupal Gardens, and for developing our own themes: what base themes do people like to start with? ...do you write your own?
We will meet at Port Tavern in Newburyport. I'll find a table in the back, you'll know me from my humidy-induced curls and Mac. Please rsvp at: http://www.meetup.com/North-Shore-Drupal-Meetup/

Greetings Boston Drupalists,
***as expected, the date conflicts with the North Shore Web Geeks, so I am changing the date to the 26th. ***
Please join our new meetup group for those on the North Shore who can't always make it to the meetups in Boston and Cambridge. I'm hoping we can create a strong community on the seacoast - sharing ideas, and inspiring each other.
Please join our group at: http://www.meetup.com/North-Shore-Drupal-Meetup/
If you can't make it to our first session, we hope to see you at one in the future.

Friends,
Back in the spring, I did a demo of an install profile I've been working on (copying the White House's website for a Boston state senator). Many of you have been generous with words of encouragement for my project since then. So, I'm taking the leap...
I proposed a session for Drupalcon, and I'll be releasing the code this week.
I'm new to the Drupalcon speaking circuit, so I'm hoping to drum up some votes and nice comments. If you've got a minute, please check out my Drupalcon session proposals here:
