multisite

We have a multisite with a large number of sites (hundred plus). Editors would love to share images between each other so they don't need to re-upload them again and again.

Do you have such challenge?

How do you solve it now? Is it worth of solving?

I'm working towards moving our university site (the Vancouver branch of Washington State University) over to drupal. Right now, after months of trial and error on a development server, I'm close to getting started on what will be our new web server, with plans to build up sections of the site department by department.
