Augusta - Georgia

I just released a beta version of the RPX module which uses the RPX service from JanRain to allow users to sign-in or register using common 3rd party services like Google, Yahoo and Facebook. I could use some feedback if anyone has the time to try it out.

I would like to discuss hiring someone to finish my website. Considering this is my first time considering hiring someone, I am sure I will probably not give you all the information you need the first go around (so be kind). If you are interested or want to know more, send me an email please.

2- I already have Drupal 6.12 installed. (URL’s are not clean yet.)

Are you guys interested in maybe doing a Drupal core Patch/Code sprint?

I just rebuilt my site as a source/center for us in the CSRA to be able to contribute news, content, and software for those drupalers in our area.

http://maxeydevbox.org would be the site.

It's just something that i figured we could use as an extra supplement alongside of the drupal groups site.

I still have a couple of things to work out and build but, i think it would be cool to have an extra-central site specific to what we might want to project.

Some of us were kicking around the idea of working at a common location one day per week.

This thought passed me by the other night. I was pondering on how it would be to create a channel on irc.freemode.net for our group.

The first part being, how we would do that, and then the other part being, how could we take that and make it beneficial to our work.

Alright I think this will be the first meeting we will actually do something. w00t.

Since no one has given suggestion I will probably be doing a session on SimpleTest and writing unit tests for Drupal.

We had the first ever Augusta Drupal Users Group meeting. We had a decent turn out of around 7 people.

Just a meet up before Szeged!

For some of you that don't know yes it has Beer and FREE wifi!
No one under the age of 21 allowed, yeah I know I will definitely find a more age friendly place for the next one sorry.

This is more of a get together than a meeting we probably will not cover much just a few guys getting together talking about Drupal while having a few beers.

We will have a full fledged meeting during September with more notice!

I am sure there are a few out there if you are a freelancer or a corporation that uses Drupal or would like to know more about Drupal please post below.
