Vrijdag 26 juni sluiten we na de DrupalJam de dag af met een Kroegmeet in het centrum. De vorige editie was zeer succesvol en daarom komt deze week een vervolg. Om een beetje het sociale gebeuren (en het alcoholpercentage) op peil te houden gaan we in hartje Utrecht een kroeg te pakken. Bier is natuurlijk optioneel, voor de kleine mensen is er Fristi. Onderwerp: Drupal, bier, Drupal, vrouwen, Drupal, mannen, borrelhapjes, netwerken, socialisen, de Chinees op de hoek, meer Drupal en van alles wat je nog meer kan bedenken.

Alles is op eigen kosten. Iedereen die aan het eind niet meer netjes langs de grachten kan komen moet zwemkleding meenemen. Je wordt niet thuisgebracht.

Locatie: Mick O'Connels in Utrecht.

Voor iedereen die wil komen: graag even aanmelden voor deze happening. Als er een behoorlijke groep is, dan melden we dat namelijk even aan Mick.

ENGLISH VERSION

After the DrupalJam at Friday the 26th of June we'll continue with a Kroegmeet (pub meet) in the centre of town. The last Kroegmeet was a succes and that's another one has been planned for this week. To keep our social lifes and the consumption of spirits at a decent level we will be going to a real Irish pub in downtown Utrecht. Drinking beer is - of course - not required. Subjects that are open for discussion: Drupal, beer, Drupal, women, Drupal, men, snacks, expanding your network, having fun, your favourite Chinese take-away, more Drupal and anything else you want to talk about.

Attendance is free of charge, but you've got to pay your own drinks and food. Please bring your swimsuits if you expect you won't be able to walk by the canals at the end of the evening.

Nu DrupalJam even groot is als DrupalCon een aantal jaren geleden, is het zaak de toekomst van DrupalJam zeker te stellen; een voor en door de Nederlands(talige) Drupal gemeenschap periodieke unconference.

Drupal theming workshop: beyond the basics

Op 26 juni, een mooie zomerdag, vindt de volgende editie van DrupalJam plaats in Utrecht. Het wordt een dag boordevol workshops, presentaties en showcases. Als je meer over Drupal wil weten, over Drupal wil leren, medeDrupallers wil spreken of op welke andere manier dan ook met Drupal bezig bent, dan mag je deze dag niet missen. Met hulp en uitleg van begeleiders zelf een theme leren bouwen.

Business talks

Op welke manieren past Drupal binnen het bedrijfsleven? Waar moet je rekening mee houden om een Drupalproject zo gestroomlijnd mogelijk te laten verlopen?

Beginnersworkshops

Met hulp en uitleg van begeleiders Drupal en enkele veelgebruikte modules leren opzetten.

Developer talks

Voor de die-hard developers zijn er talks waarin het onderste van Drupal uit de kan gehaald wordt. Denk aan onderwerpen als bug hunting, migration, server setup, beveiliging, Drush, etc.

Development workshops

Met hulp en uitleg van begeleiders leren om modules te ontwikkelen.

Aanmelden

De DrupalJam is gratis toegankelijk, maar aanmelden is verplicht. Iedereen wordt aangeraden een laptop mee te nemen. Zonder laptop is deelname aan de workshops niet mogelijk.

This is your last call for the Drupal Devroom at Fosdem.

The Fosdem mega-conference is taking place this weekend on Campus Solbosch of the Université Libre de Bruxelles.

It kicks off in only 4 hours with a delirious beer fest under the Grand' Place.

A lot has happened since the dutch/belgian drupal community met on the drupaljam in breda to kick off the organization of the next drupalcon in Maastricht, Netherlands.
What first started as a wicked idea from Bert Boerland at the entrance of the Szeged venue, has now shaped into the current proposal that has been submitted to the Drupal Association.

The Belgian Drupal User Group is organising a meeting on January 19 at 19h at the Rits, A. Dansaertstraat 70 in Brussels.

During this meeting Bart Haedens will give a presentation about Drupal and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This will be in Dutch.

Kom op, je hebt zo veel van Drupal gekregen. Klanten, websites, omzet, liefde. Nu is je kans .. nee je plicht :-) .. om iets terug te doen aangebroken. Zet je zelf op de kaart, help Drupal en wordt actief in de DrupalCon Maastricht 2009 organisatie!

Since last year's Drupal devroom was such a success, this year several people worked together to make it happen again. We started sending mails back and forth to the organization about a month and a half ago and no less than three individual proposals were sent to the FOSDEM organization.

I'm happy to announce that the devroom is confirmed. Let's make it even better than last year.

From the Call for FOSDEM participation.

We offer large projects a devroom during the conference. A devroom is a room in which projects can organize their own schedule made of presentations, brainstorming and hacking sessions. Our goal is to stimulate developer collaboration and cross-pollination between projects, and as such we strongly favor projects with similar goals and domains to host a devroom together.

Er wordt een nieuwe versie van de drupal.be/.nl website gemaakt omdat:

1. We momenteel de infrastructuur delen met d.o. en dit onze vrijheid beperkt.
2. We geen server toegang hebben en daarvoor gelimiteerd zijn tot de d.o functionaliteit.
3. We momenteel geen eigen themen kunnen gebruiken.

De laatste vergadering werden er werkgroepen die verantwoordelijk waren voor een deel van de redesign ingesteld. Er wordt gevraagd naar een update en of de werkgroep verder kan of aan het wachten is op een resultaat van een andere groep.
