We're coming up on the second Tuesday Wednesday of the month again, which means that the Drupal Denver/Boulder User Group is meeting at pingVision tomorrow night.

Because Drupal Camp Colorado is being held in the Micro Business Development Center that is home to Deproductions/Denver Open Media, we have access to equipment and bandwidth that wouldn't be available at many other Drupal Camp locations. It's official! The next Drupal Camp Colorado is happening the weekend of July 26th and 27th in Denver. Come join us in the mountains for two full days of Drupal wisdom and knowledge. We are going to host a mix of sessions and BOF's geared towards both the new Drupalers out there as well as the experienced veterans. Come join companies such as pingVision, Growing Venture Solutions, Aten Design Group, Blue Tent Marketing, Deproduction, and Civic Pixel among others.

I am building an "ideagora" (see Wikinomics) site for the average person called iWondr (www.iwondr.com). I've got the basics of the site fleshed out. Now I need help in working out the flows and coding them so they work properly and are secure.

I cannot pay you--yet. But what I can offer you is a percentage of the site's income once it becomes profitable. So your work would initially be pro-bono, but with the right deployment could be profitable.

We are planning an upcoming DBUG Camp (Denver/Boulder) for this summer. We seem to have the technical ability to pull it off but need some help getting a suitable logo in place. In order to do this we are running a logo design contest until June 1, 2008. The winner will have their logo used on promotional materials for the event.

Monarch Digital is seeking a full or part-time Web designer / developer in our Colorado Springs studio. Great communication skills a must as you will work directly with some of our clients. We had an amazing time in Boston at the Drupalcon. Almost unanimously, we have identified that there was a significant lack of technical sessions that were of sufficient quality to make us feel like we were really learning something. The BoF sessions were phenomenal and there was a good deal of quality material at the Drupalcon including a decent turn out of many of the DBUG members I see regularly. I'm not saying the sessions at Drupalcon completely lacked value, just that they were not geared completely towards experienced Drupal Developers.

An exciting young (but not startup) Internet company that specializes in the development of online advertising/marketing business intelligence needs a web developer to work on both the corporate web site and the development of a web interface for a new product that will be integrated into the site. The corporate portal serves both to describe the company and its products as well as to provide the entrance for clients who subscribe to the service.

Not to be confused with the monthly D/BUG meet-up in Boulder on February 13th, pingVision invites Drupal fans and supporters of all levels to come to our Drupal 6 Launch Party on February 6th, starting at 5:30pm.

Drupal 6 promises some very nice improvements over previous version of Drupal. This event is actually going to be more informal than our meet-ups, if that's possible, but we do plan on doing a little showcasing of some of these new features of Drupal 6.

The Denver/Boulder Meet-up in Boulder is happening on February 13th at 6:30 in the newly expanded offices of pingVision -- same place, but different suite. Now we should have a little elbow room!

I was a little disappointed with tonight's presentation/conversation. We spent most of the night looking at how a few people have hacked together updated versions of JQuery and JQuery plugins with some custom code thrown in. The general message seemed to be JQuery is cool. Use it.
