I would like to provide the ability for users to purchase more than one membership on a single page.
As I understand it now, they would have to create one at a time. one checkout for each membership.
I'm thinking about the poor soul who is tasked with signing up his department for memberships. He would want a shopping cart for memberships.
Any solutions? Ideas?

CiviCRM 2.1 will allow one person to register & pay for multiple event attendees at once, so likely this code could be used for memberships also. I'd check issues.civicrm.org and perhaps post a new issue.
