After a little bit of discussion, the date, time and location has been set.
The Reno Area Drupal Group Meet Up will be at the Round Table Pizza diagonal from the Atlantis Casino at 6:00pm for 1.5 hours. December 9th, the second thursday of the month.
At this time there is no set agenda. A newbie discussion of the Drupal components propably would hurt no one. An intermediate discussion of updating and password managment might be of interest. A discussion of actually working with the php, or version control, or rolling your own theme template would be a good advanced discussion. Anyone care to talk about these topics? Anyone have some tip or trick they would like to share?
If for some reason I should not be able to attend, I am hoping Tahoe 'boinkser' can be in attendance.

I'm sorry to hear! I guess the group hasn't developed enough to the point for regular/sustainable meetings just yet.
I'm in Nevada City, CA which is about 1.5 hrs drive. Are you local in Reno?

Yes, I'm local in Reno.
Nevada City is quite a drive. A few minutes after my post, Nathan of coldpixel.com showed up, and we went to the Atlantis for Sushi. He came from Truckee, and we had a nice chat.
We were both looking forward to meeting you. I might have met you at Drupalcon SF, but it is such a blur at this point.
Hopefully there will be another try early next year. If that doesn't work, then maybe a few of us could carpool to Sac. I've yet to go to a meetup anyplace, so just getting a feel for what one is like will be good learning experience.

I just moved back to Reno and would be interested in attending future meetups or carpooling to a Sacramento meetup.
I've dabbled in Drupal and other CMS for several years and I've lately gotten much more serious about learning / using Drupal.
I'm amused to see that Round Table Pizza picked as the location to meet up, I worked there while in high school many years ago.

Are there still meetups going on? Visiting from San Diego and I'd like to meet the drupal community here...
I'll be here until the weekend, crossing my fingers that there's a meetup in the next 3 days lol
