Someone at work set a calendar reminder for this date so I wouldn't miss it like I did the last time. Thanks Michael!

I'll see you guys tonight. I'll be the geeky guy carrying a titanium laptop and looking for a bunch of geeks sitting around with titanium laptops...

This was my first San Diego

brenda003's picture

This was my first San Diego Drupal meetup! I think there was a pretty good showing, but obviously I have nothing to compare to. It was really awesome to finally meet some locals. I'm just sorry I couldn't stay longer and get a chance to chat with everyone more.

See ya all next month or so.

Tried to make it to the meet up

Hi guys,

I tried to make it to the meet up last night, but I had to work until about 7:30 p.m.

I drove up there and found the coffee house. After about 15 minutes of driving around, I gave up on finding a parking place and went home. So far I have only been able to go the first meeting. Hopefully, next time will be the charm.

See ya.

Yeah, the parking was pretty

Yeah, the parking was pretty bad. I actually ended up parking down another block or so, I think where there's some sort of field (school?). Seemed to be a lot open there.

Anyway, hope to see you next time!

Parking is bad

The parking at Cream is pretty bad in the evening :(

I'm not married to the location. It also tends to be pretty loud in there. It is just a place that I know and it has wireless access. Internet access isn't strictly necessary, but I do like to have it so we can demo sites.

If anyone knows of a more suitable location or can offer up some office space in the area, we can move it.

Nice seeing you all

Good meeting -- I learned a lot from several of you. Matt regarding nuances of hosting. Brenda -- informative discussion on editing and image alternatives -- sorry I monopolized most of your battery time!

And moondrop... yeah parking was a little scarce right adjacent, but there were some spaces on Meade at North Ave beside the school (one block south and west)... maybe a spot to check next time. And we were going strong 'til almost 9pm.

No problem, Graham! It was

No problem, Graham! It was interesting to hear about the kind of issues you're facing, planning the way to build a Drupal site is often the hardest task.

The night certainly made me wish for a DrupalCamp San Diego, though. I think I could talk about Drupal with other enthusiasts all day.
