I'm a fan Install Profile Generator modules and didn't see any pending patches for Drupal 6. Can someone please update me and the community on any of these projects being worked on for 6 or a new alternative?
I'm really looking to cut down my D6 installation time, like my 5.x days. :)

Yeah I am curious where things are at as well. Personally I have not really done a bare install for quite a while. Updated our in-house distro's thats about it

Needs porting
The install_profile_api and the profile wizard needs updating and porting to D6.
I'm curious what the status
I'm curious what the status is of this as well. For more advanced projects it's crazy to do all this work manually so even having an alpha release of the profile wizard for instance would be great to have an acceptable starting point for a .profile.
