3rd Annual "Coding for a Cause".
This year, we will be selecting two local non-profit organizations who will be the beneficiaries of a brand new, state-of-the-art Drupal web site.
What is Drupal? - Drupal is an open source modular platform used to build everything from personal blogs to enterprise applications. Whitehouse.gov, Grammys.com, Popsci.com and hundreds of other businesses, government agencies and organization sites use Drupal because it is free, flexible, and is constantly being improved by the hundreds of thousands of dedicated developers that are part of the Drupal Community.
This year we'll be using the Open Outreach distribution of Drupal. Open Outreach is a specialized version of the Drupal software just for nonprofit organizations. We will be using Open Outreach to help us build your organization a full-featured website in just a few hours with the help of our Coding for a Cause volunteers.
As always, we're looking for additional volunteers who want to participate in Coding for a Cause. You don't have to have extensive experience with Drupal, just a willingness to help out. If you're interested, please indicate as so when you register for the camp!
