Calling Northern BC DRUPAL developers

I recently attended the Vancouver DRUPAL Camp and was glad I did. Taking in the different sessions, workshops, and conferences made for a great learning experience and allowed me to talk to like minded people using the same tools and creating similar projects.

Working in a relative vacuum in Smithers BC, I find that I have few people that I can call peers. I am one of possibly two people in my town that uses DRUPAL as a web development tool. This can make it a pretty lonely place to work. Additionally, it also has me questioning, am I doing things correctly? Am I being efficient? Is there meaning to life?

So, as Dale McGladdery, one of the organizers of Vancouver DRUPAL Camp suggested, i created a group where us lonely Northerners can virtually gather, let each other know we exist, share ideas, and stave off the lonelyness (at least for while).

Feel free to introduce yourselves (where you are from, how long you have been using DRUPAL, pet peeves, etc.)

Perhaps I will start.
My name is Glen Ingram and I have been using DRUPAL for over 4 years. I live in the small mtn community of Smithers and love it here. Sure it feels a little remote (expecially in the winter), but it is one of those places where a small effort can truly make a positive difference for the entire community.
I have completed some pretty technical sites, but I would have to say one of my favorites would be kermodeitourism.ca or perhaps haisla.ca for its potential in drawing attention to the village's work, art, and people. These are the type of projects that I take joy in doing.

What about you?

ps. for the sake of argument, let's say Northern BC is everything North of Prince George..
