Hi All,
new to the group. have been working on a website which uses vbdrupal + vbulletin. The idea is to integrate moodle or moodle like capability. Then I came accross the word DrupalEd. But all I could find about it was a small page on funnymonkey (http://www.funnymonkey.com/drupaled-latest) which hasnt been updated since Feb 19th. Looked the project is dead?
Any ideas or help where I can get more info on what Drupal ed actually does? Is it still going on or has it been discontinued?

definitely not dead
If you want a hierarchical, calendar/teacher driven course management, then Moodle is a great fit. If you want something that allows for teacher-directed and student-directed learning to occur side by side, then DrupalEd could be a better fit.
With that said, we are planning to overhaul and streamline the existing version this summer. Ideally, we'd like to get a D6 version out by mid-July. There is still some code that needs to be ported, however, and we are waiting on that.
And if you are looking for something that helps to bridge the gap b/w Drupal and Moodle, this just came out yesterday. It's currently only D6, but could be ported to D5: http://drupal.org/project/moodle_courselist
Cheers,
Bill
