I was hoping for some genius from the Denver-Boulder Area Community which modules everyone prefers for video (flv) hosted locally.

the "local" part screws up using emfield.module for me.

I'm looking at FlashVideo.module

video.module shows it shouldn't be used in a production environment.

Ideas?

Thanks.

I prefere OP Video

OP video is just a bit more easy to handle and allows for the cck field to be romoved or added with ease. FlashVideo works great though, and it tends to be more intergratable with other modules such as the Dash player. Just keep in mind that both will need some sort of fmpeg.

I'm a big fan of the filefield + jQuery media combination for locally hosted video.

Sean Effel put together a screencast on getting this going in Drupal 6 at http://drupaltherapy.com/node/50

We've used this technique successfully on a few of our sites (still in production).
