Finding Like Minded Developers
Hello,
My name is Matt Petrowsky and I just joined this group. I've been what you might call a closet drupal developer for some time and I'd like to get to know some other drupal developers who also like presenting content.
I'm in the midst of working on my second dupal site (my first one pays for my living) and I'm seeking feedback and interaction from other drupal developers, alas, I only know a few of them - so I thought I'd make an introduction here.
If you'd like to get a feel for the type of content I can potentially contribute to the dojo then I have a video posted here
http://techknowlogy.com/bypass/ (the main site is blocked)
I apologize if it seems like it's a bit promotional, but I've been using it as a calling card to find other drupal developers to work with. If you work with MAMP on the Mac, then the video's got some pretty good stuff. Symlinking MAMP/Virtual host logs into Console.app and using QuickSilver and Clix to launch php.ini and httpd.conf.
Anyway, I thought this smaller group of teachers and learners would be a bit more comfortable for me to make an introduction.

Hi Matt
Come out of that closet =) Do you have an RSS feed that we can add to the Drupal Planet? (You can mail it to me)

Hey Robert,
Thanks for the question. Unfortunately, I don't have a drupal dedicated site/blog right now. :( I'm a transplant from the somewhat smaller niche of FileMaker Pro. But I plan on having one for the sites I'm creating (using drupal of course) as I create them.
That video is pretty great.

Awesome video.
Awesome video. I especially liked the quicksilver tips using Clix, and using the console to view logs. That's a much better solution than having display_errors turned on or tailing logs anytime something doesn't look right while in development. Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing.
