I'm sorry if I'm hijacking the wrong forum here, but I noticed there were a number of Tahoe people on this list, so I thought I'd reach out.
Is anyone interested in doing an informal meetup on the North Shore? I'd be happy to organize a location; I just don't think I can offer much in the way of presentation, though I have ideas for discussion items.
I'd still be very interested in meeting in Reno at some point soon. The weather/having a new baby made it a challenge for me earlier this year, so I am very sorry I could not attend.

Tahoe Meetup - Incline Village
Yes, I'm interested in doing an informal meetup on the North Shore. I'd offer my company's offices as a possible location - 913 Tahoe Blvd in Incline Village. We are doing a lot of work on a Drupal site, based on Drupal Commons. Let me know either here or via my contact form. If a meetup is organized in Reno, we would also try to make it.

Sounds excellent. Just to throw out a day, how about Thursday, June 16? I'm available any time that day. dfylstra, your offices in Incline sound great.
As for a topic, I'm open. Possible ideas: Email newsletter integration modules, basic ecommerce, how your company handles security updates/upgrades for existing clients ... I would be interested in hearing more about Drupal Commons, too.
I would attend
I would most likely be able to attend the proposed meeting (6/16). There's a small chance that some proposed contract work would take me out of town but things aren't moving very quickly on that front.
I'm working on an e-commerce site right now, I could discuss my experiences and I'd love to hear other thoughts and get feedback. Newsletter integration would be a great topic, that's a constant area of curiosity for people I'm talking to. Drupal Commons interests me as well, I've got a back-burner personal project to rebuild a site based on an XML archive from an old EditThisPage private social site my sister managed years ago.
I'm also interested in Panels and/or Context, module development, development practices, and all sorts of stuff related to client interaction.
Can't attend this time
I'm traveling on June 16, but I'd like to attend a future meetup (if it were held in Reno). I'm the web manager for the City of Reno, and I'm just beginning to learn Drupal for future projects. I'm taking a php class on June 12 to get a better foundation. (Check out these local classes: http://renocollective.com/university). Please let me know if anyone intends to meet up here in July. Choosing a time for a June 16 Meetup
OK, it seems there is interest -- We're willing to host a meeting at our office (Frontline Systems) on June 16. The address is 913 Tahoe Blvd, Incline Village NV 89451, phone 775-831-0300 - this is the Aspen Plaza office building, and currently we're the only tenant on the second floor. Would people kindly indicate what time works for them, say between a 3pm start or a 5-5:30pm start?
I can talk about our experience with e-commerce on a Drupal site. We are using Ubercart on a Drupal Commons (hence Drupal 6) site. We are supporting multiple "price levels" and currencies for our products, using the Multiprice module for Ubercart. We have some custom modules for Ubercart to handle price quotes and software licensing. We've connected Ubercart to QuickBooks using the Webgility eCC package, and we're also replicating Ubercart orders in our CRM/email marketing system, called Infusionsoft.
I would love to hear from someone who has experience working with Panels and Context. The very latest release of Drupal Commons (1.6) has just dropped Panels from the distribution, and is using Context instead for key pages, such as user dashboards and the community dashboard. This change has us a little concerned, since we were just coming up to speed on Panels, and have no real experience with Context.

I cannot start at 3pm -- I'll be in the middle of a meeting with two visitors who have driven up from U.S. Bank in Reno at that time. How is a 5pm start time for rmd-14 and cothrun?

I'm on a mini vacation next week, so this week has me cramming to get things done before going.
With the added 2 hour round trip to Incline, it's unlikely I'll be able to break away this week.
