Hi,
We're about to make some major changes to core components covering recurring payments, role assignments and user account provisions. More information about how E-Commerce is now and how it will be changed can be found attached to a post in the E-Commerce group.
We are looking for funding from E-Commerce site owners out there that have used the E-Commerce suite on their site.

I recommend people get their hands on the spec. It's not the sort of stuff we can achieve by osmosis. I'm actively engaging with some of my clients to contribute to the funding because ultimately it will benefit them to get this done properly.
