Drupalcon Szeged Drupalchix BoF!
Drupachix BoF at Drupalcon Szgeged!
Learning from my horrible mistake at Drupalcon Boston where like half the women missed this session, this time I wanted to give any chix coming to Szeged a heads-up on when this is going to be so we don't have to resort to silly things like leaving notes in the girl's room. ;)
So, the session will be at 4pm - 4:45pm in the "Sun" BoF room, on the first day of the conference, where we can all meet each other and talk about our backgrounds, what we do with Drupal, or whatever else we feel like. This way, we can maybe skip out to dinner afterwards, and we all have seen each other the first day and will recognize each other throughout the rest of the week. Also, this was one of very few slots where there wasn't a woman presenting. :)
Hope to see you there!

Excellent! See you there!
Excellent! See you there!
Yay!
Looking forward to this :-) Thanks Angie
I'll be there in spirit. ;)
I'll be there in spirit. ;) Okay, I'm jealous! I hope you guys get a great showing.
Also in spirit
Sorry to miss meeting everyone in Szeged. I'll be 5000 miles (8000 km) away, celebrating my dad's 80th birthday. Have a great time, all.
(brenda003, there's a creative and cute druplichick!)
BTW, how is Szeged pronounced?
Excellent
This will be my first DrupalCon and I'm really looking forward to it.
pronouncing szeged
i'm looking forward to the conference very much. i have no idea what to expect.
i was curious also about pronunciation:
This lecturer uploaded a wav file to listen to how to pronounce Szeged:

oh! and the drupalcon site also has an ogg file

I won't be there, but hope
I won't be there, but hope to make the next one. And, as Angie found out, we should definitely get this pre-arranged in the future, it's way too hard for people to find out otherwise :)
I like the idea of a dinner out (or lunch or breakfast or whatever.) But sometimes there are too many other things going on during the conference. Maybe at the next one we could do a little group sight-seeing before or after the conference. We're getting to all these interesting places, it might be fun to actually see them :)
Anyway, to those of you that do make it, have a ball!
How was it?
I totally missed it and would LOVE the News. How did it go?
I have yet to listen to the lullabot podcast, is that the best source for the session info, or is there a better place to look?
Thanks!!
