Anyone up to speed with Hierarchical Select module.

Hi
I need some support with Hierarchical Select module integration.

The issue I have is integrating it into a custom search I am building.
Does anyone know of easier to understand documentation than exists with the module?

Just to close off this discussion: If anyone's interested, this helped me:
http://www.lullabot.com/articles/custom_search_forms_views_and_fastsearch (although it has nothing to do with Hierarchical Select (HS) - it helped me use HS within a new customised form.

Originally I was looking for someone who maybe had knowledge of using the HS module (I'm building a search like on TradeMe Jobs - when someone selects an option in the dropdown it affects subsequent options, like for location etc) Anyway, I achieved this using the above article to create a customised search - and by utilising modules "Views", "Views Fastsearch" and "Hierarchical Select" it worked a treat ( incorporating HS as demoed on http://wimleers.com/demo/hierarchical-select ).

Maybe this might help anyone else who is interested in HS and has been struggling with it.

data entry + query

before diving into the above methods ...

can this method be used also for data-entry?

say the user wants to add a location to the database and wants to select country/.../zip/street address rather than writing the plain text address. what's the preferred method?

what's the best matching method to present all the locations in a certain city? zip-area? street?

I've done work with this module (D5 mostly). We use this module for selecting country/region data (see http://www.vetspace.org.nz/user/register) or http://www.sciquest.org.nz/elibrary/search/reference for a more advanced sample

If you are entering data. I would probably use HS for drilling down to a certain depth and then use autocomplete fields in the text boxes where the user types data.
