upgrading drupal versions

Hello, eternal noob here. i have been reading about drush, just havent tried to use it yet. question. does drush make it easier to upgrade from say drupal 7.1 to 7.3? i am not clear on that. thanks.

Yes, and it's very easy. Just make "drush up" in the directory with settings.php of your site and you done!

Before I used Drush I would take hours to do things that take me minutes now. Learn it. Learn SSH and you will save time

OK - but does Drush up work for major version upgrades as well?

No, but site-upgrade does.
