I'm trying to use views to create an advanced search for Real Estate properties listed on the website, however I'm having a few problems:
What I'd like for it to do is have a bunch of drop-down menus set as a block, so I can then put the block in different pages
eg:
-Suburb/Postcode (as there is only a limited number of suburbs being sold by the company)
-Number of bedrooms (Studio, 1, 2, 3,...)
-Number of bathrooms (Studio, 1, 2, 3,...)
-Property Type (Appartment, Villa, House,...)
-Minimum Price ($100,000 , $150,000 , ... )
-Maximum Price ($500,000 , $550,000 , ... )
So how do I set these up? as Taxonomy Terms?
How do I post the Real Estate properties to my website? as basic pages?
Is there a guide which shows how to use views for a search page, or can someone explain it themselves?

Filters
I have added Postcode/NumBedrooms/NumBathrooms/PropertyType/MaxPrice/MinPrice etc as filters, so I can now input a text value to each of them and click "apply", so it will search for them.
This is what it looks like so far:

So no matter which field I put the search term into, they all work the same currently (so I can put the suburb "toorak" into number of bedrooms, and it still displays this one).
This is understandable as I haven't configured it to do otherwise... so how would I do so? Or if I'm not doing it correctly at all, please let me know :P

Hi, Thanks for your reply,
Hi,
Thanks for your reply, I've actually managed to figure it out myself already, forgot to update this post. But yeah, for some reason the view wasn't showing the filters... so I created a new one and it did.
advanced search views
I use taxonomy terms and search term to make filters in views of advanced search.
I set them in filter criteria :
- content : has taxonomy term. Selections type drop down. Tick Expose this filter to visitors, to allow them to change it.
