Idea: Push Engine - Integration with existing Push technologies to streamline Realtime Data Push into Drupal
Brief: I've been digging though all existing modules but non seem to offer anything that can push the data from external sources in realtime.
Advantage: integration of drupal with any of the existing push frameworks can really take drupal out to a brand new horizon.
Push is used in so many different applications, almost any module that somehow involved with change of information on the client-side and/or save into sql would love to see a module that allows for pushing the data in real-time.

Here are a all-mixed list of push / realtime frameworks which anyone them could be used to create a module that integrates their APIs with the drupal's :

Lightstreamer; seems to be the most advanced one and they offer a free package (Moderato) also.
